Terms of Service

sailfork is a git hosting service operated by Fenil Sonani as an individual ("I", "me"). By creating an account or using the service you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use it.

Your account

You must give an accurate email address and keep your password, tokens and SSH keys secret. You are responsible for what happens under your account. Tell me at fenilsonani00@gmail.com if you think it has been compromised.

Your content

You keep ownership of the code and other material you push. You give me the right to store, process and transmit it as needed to run the service, for example to serve it to people you have given access and, for public repositories, to anyone. Only push material you have the right to share.

Acceptable use

Do not use sailfork to:

• host or distribute malware, or content that is illegal where I operate or where you live;
• attack, probe or overload the service or other people's systems;
• evade rate limits or access repositories you are not allowed to read;
• use the service as general file storage or a content delivery network.

I may remove content, limit access or close accounts that break these rules, with notice where that is practical.

Availability and changes

The service is provided as is and as available, with no uptime guarantee. It may change, and it may have bugs. Keep your own copy of anything you cannot afford to lose; with git, you already have one.

Liability

To the extent the law allows, I am not liable for lost data, lost profits or indirect damages arising from use of the service, and my total liability for any claim is limited to what you paid me for the service in the previous twelve months.

Ending your account

You can stop using sailfork at any time. To have your account and repositories deleted, email me; see the Privacy Policy for what is kept.

Changes to these terms

I may update these terms. The effective date above changes when I do, and continued use after that means you accept the new terms.
